Problem
Users drop off before joining contests due to effort and lack of confidence in team creation, especially in low-familiarity and time-constrained matches.
Goal
Increase contest join rate by reducing friction with ready-made Expert Teams.
Success metrics
  • Primary: contest join rate per match
  • Secondary: Expert Team adoption, avg teams/user, time to create team
  • Guardrails: D1/D7 retention, avg winnings, team diversity
Flows demonstrated
  • Lobby → Expert Teams → Pick → C/VC → Save → My Teams (Flow 1)
  • Create Team idle / exit-intent → Expert Teams bottom sheet (Flow 2)
  • Pick → Edit → Save as Edited (Flow 3)
  • Admin updates expert team → user notified, Apply latest / Keep current (Flow 4)
Edge cases visible
  • Empty, error, and loading states
  • Low picks → 'New' tag
  • Multiple teams per expert → ABC's Team 1 / 2
  • Expert Teams disabled per match (admin)
Out of scope
Real cricket data, payments, contest joining, A/B infra. All data is mocked and persists for the current tab session only.
Try it:
  1. Open the IND vs AUS match from the lobby
  2. Tap “Expert Teams Available”
  3. Pick a team → tweak C/VC → save
  4. Open Admin Panel and bump that team's version
  5. Return to “My Teams” to see the update banner
